Jeff Rosen is the 2014 District Attorney of Santa Clara County. Jeff was elected into office in January 2011. Jeff graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with his undergraduate degree in Philosophy. While at school, Jeff was awarded with the Truman Scholarship and the Outstanding Senior Award. Jeff went on to attend the University of California, Berkeley School of Law for his J.D.
Jeff started his career working as a commercial litigation attorney in Los Angeles and Washington D.C. He began working for the Santa Clara District Attorney's office in 1995 as a prosecutor for high profile criminal cases including drug trafficking, rape, child molestation, burglary, murder, and gang violence. Jeff also has extensive experience teaching trial advocacy at Santa Clara University Law School and trained police offers in report writing. Also to his credit, Jeff has served as the President of a large synagogue.
