Michael A. Ramos is the 2014 District Attorney for San Bernardino County. He was sworn into office on January 4, 2011 for his third term. Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside, and then went on to earn his law degree from the Citrus Belt Law School in 1988. After graduating, he started his career as a group counselor with the Probation Department, eventually becoming a Probation Officer. Michael's career in the District Attorney's office started in 1989 as the Deputy District Attorney.
Michael was elected District Attorney of San Bernardino County in 2002 where he responded to criminal injustices such as human trafficking by implementing the Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation (CASE) and eventually a Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit.
