Although Missouri law allows for the expungement of most arrests and convictions, there are waiting periods that must be met. Felony convictions are eligible for expungement 7 years after you have completed the terms of your sentence or probationary term. Misdemeanors are eligible 3 years after the completion of your sentence or probationary term. First-time alcohol related convictions (except for those involving commercial motor vehicles) are eligible after 10 years.
To maintain your eligibility, you may not have any convictions within the relevant time period. You also may not have any current pending charges or outstanding fines/restitutions.
