Lisa Green is the 2014 District Attorney of Kern County. In 2010, Lisa was elected as the first female District Attorney in Kern County. Lisa is originally from Buffalo, New York, but moved to California to attend Fresno State University for her undergraduate career. Lisa then graduated the University of San Diego Law School in 1983. While attending law school, Lisa was a member of the Moot Court Board, received the Order of the Barrister's Award, and also wrote for the Bar Review. From 2001 to 2009, Lisa served as the Supervising District Attorney. In 2009, Lisa was promoted to Chief Deputy District Attorney.
